In the early 1900's the physical culturalist Bernard
McFadden stated that the American Public was overfed and under nourished. 75% of
the world's people go to bed starving with empty stomachs and Americans go to

refined, bleached, hydrogenated, sterilized, homogenized, microwaved, and

it in all age groups, inclusing our children today and future generations. it is
truly a shame and it is not getting any better, but worse. When foreigners come
to the U.S. they are taken back by our obesity. We, in the holistic and
nutrition field, are appalled by the number of presscription drugs dispensed.
Our expenditure annually is 1.4 trillion dollars. We also believe most diseases
are caused by nutritional deficiencies. Since 1960, we have been taking
nutrition advice from medical doctors who ironically know very little about
nutrition. They claim we should eat a low fat, high carbohydrate diet for
maximum health and to achieve weight loss. Furthermore, they declare that animal
fat and protein will cause heart disease and kidney damage. All of the prominent
holistic biochemists and naturopathic doctors such as Dr. Harry Eidenier, Jr.,
Kurt Donsbach, Adelle Davis, Carlton Fredericks, Robert Goodheart, and the late
Dr. Atkins, an M.D., have stated that this is not true. The great bodybuilding
teacher Vince Gironda, advocated the protein, fat, and moderate carb diet for 55
